To all my well wishers, fans & loved ones, I will be announcing a wonderful news tomorrow around noon. One of the most important events of my life," announced veteran actor Mohan Babu on his microblogging site on Saturday morning. The proclamation triggered a guessing game in Tollywood circles, both online and off line, about what the "wonderful news" is all about.We did some snooping around to discover much to our surprise that the 62 year old actor is all set to become a proud grandpa again! 

It's reliably learnt that the Manchu household is bracing up to welcome the newest member of their family — Lakshmi Manchu's baby. Yes, Lakshmi Manchu is due to become a mommy. But that's not all. The television host-turned-producer-turned-actress could be poised to become the first-ever surrogate mother in Tollywood, possibly a first in all of South Indian film fraternity. 

"Lakshmi is due to become a mom through surrogacy," a source close to the family heard Vishnu Manchu say. "The (Manchu) family is overjoyed and keeping their fingers crossed, hoping to see whether it would be a baby boy or a girl. We will know tomorrow", source added. 

While there isn't any official confirmation yet, Lakshmi could well be joining the likes of Shah Rukh Khan and Amir Khan,who took the surrogacy route to parenthood if it turns out to be true. Lakshmi wasn't available for comment when contacted. Her brother, Vishnu chose to be evasive saying, "I'm in Chennai right now. You must talk to Lakshmi." When we persisted, enquiring about Mohan Babu's post, he said, "There have been a lot of developments in my household in the last couple of days. My dad could be announcing news of my brother's (Manchu Manoj's) wedding also," he added, without exactly denying the news.We'll have to wait for the family to make the official announcement. 

Well, either ways, looks like it's going to be celebration time in the Manchu household. Keep watching this space for more details.
