Actor Shah Rukh Khan has been taken taken to Mumbai's Nanavati Hospital with what sources close to him described as "very minor injuries" after an accident while shooting at Mumbai's JW Marriott Hotel this morning.
The superstar is shooting for Happy new Year directed by close friend Farah Khan and co-starring Deepika Padukone, at Mumbai's JW Marriott Hotel.
A statement released on behalf of the star said: Mr Khan had a minor accident on the sets while shooting. He has a minor injury and has got the necessary medical aid. Mr Khan is absolutely fine now. Thank you for all your wishes!
Just this morning, SRK tweeted: A day where one feels like "turning down the volume knob on life". Hope today all I hear is the music in my thoughts..nothing else....nothing.
SRK is scheduled to attend the Filmfare Awards in Mumbai tomorrow.
