When the entire country is shocked, the police system gets into action. In a bid to get the CM released, Commissioner (Posani Krishna Murali) manages to talk to Srinu makes some strange demands in order to free him. What happens next will form the crux of the story.
Performances :
Nara Rohith gives a brilliant performance as the guy who is vexed with the system. He has displayed a lot of maturity in acting and his dialogue delivery is excellent as always.
The heroine didn't really have much to do but the girl did add some color to a film like Prathinidhi.
Kota Srinivasa Rao is perfect as the CM. He initially shows frustration and later compassion after learning the truth.
Posani Murali Krishna did a great job as a police officer with his regular beeped profanity.
Sri Vishnu is improving with every film as an actor and he has done well in this movie. Ravi Prakash is decent. Jayaprakash Reddy is routine but OK.
The rest of the crew did their job as they were guided.
Technical Departments:
Prathinidhi is a political thriller with a few commercial ingredients. Nara Rohit's sterling performance is the main highlight in the film. Anand Ravi's interesting story, Prashanth Mandava's arresting narration and dialogues, Sai Karthik's music and Chitti Babu's camera work are other attractions of the film. Lack entertainment quotient, poor execution of the script and a few illogical scenes are its drawbacks.
Anand Ravi has written an innovative story for Prathinidhi and its concept is quite fresh and unique. The plot is based on a common man's struggle against the corrupt system. Director Prashanth Mandava has also done a good screenplay out of this story and he has very good grip on the narration of the show. But the director seems to have taken certain things for granted. Especially, the scene of kidnapping of the CM looks like a joke. He should have given it a more realistic touch to this scene.
Plus Points:
Nara Rohith;s energetic expressions
Kota Srinivasa Rao
Dialogues
Intersting Story
Interval Blocl
Political Scenes
Minus Points:
Editing
Needless flashback of love story
Heroine Shubra Ayyapa
Screenplay
Kidnapping Scene
Final Word: Nara Rohith's Prathinidhi film based on politics although a lot of politicians are involved in it. The responsibility of every single person including a leader is explained in a common man's language. The movie runs in the same mood throughout the end and the momentum is also balanced in the same way.
Prathinidhi is a must watch for every responsible citizen. Every individual should watch this movie not to change but at least to know what reality is.It is merely the reviewer’s perception and has no connection with the box office collections whatsoever.
