Hyderabad: Actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi is on the lookout for the right script for his 150th film and our sources say that these days he is concentrating on his physique and is rigorously working out.

The source adds that Chiranjeevi is on the lookout for a subject that will suit his personality. The actor also wants to ensure that the film has a message. Paruchuri Brothers, who have worked with Chiranjeevi in the past, have taken the responsibility of finding a subject.

Recently, Mani Ratnam met Chiranjeevi and many had thought that he might do his 150th film with Mani. However, our sources say that the actor is keen on roping in V.V. Vinayak for the film.

“Vinayak has a good rapport with Chiranjeevi and his family. Moreover the two have worked earlier for Tagore and thus Vinayak has the best chance,” adds the source.

Writer Chinni Krishna, who had provided the story for Chiranjeevi’s earlier blockbuster Indra, also met the star recently. “Those who were close to the actor when he was in films are now busy choosing the right script,” says the source.

If everything goes well, the film may be announced soon and may be launched as early as on August 22, the megastar’s birthday.
