Bullion dealers' body India Bullion and Jewellery Association (IBJA) has serviced a legal notice on the actor Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra for recovery of Rs 25 crore for use of IBJA brand by them.
Shilpa's newly formed jewellery company Satyug Gold had inked anagreement with IBJA for use of the Association's name to promote gold accumulation scheme for which the actor was committed to pay a one-time fee of Rs 25 croreto IBJA.
But, Shilpa failed to pay the amount as per the agreement.
"We have served a legal notice on to Shipla Shetty and Raj Kundra promoted Satyug Gold for recovery of Rs 25 crore as agreed under an agreementfew months ago," said Mohit Kamboj, president of IBJA.
