As per the statement of DCP Balaraju, Assistant AGM Sandeep Kumar of Narayana College Vijayawada opened an account in facebook as Siri a junior actress.
He posted the activities in the facebook that a voluntary organization run by Siri is engaged in social activities like providing education to poor and poor feeding. A request to donors to donate liberally was also posted in the facebook.
By actively maintaining the facebook account Sandeep could collect Rs.82,000 successfully but his luck reached its end when Siri went to Cyber police and brought the fact to the police that the facebook account doesn’t belong to her and it has to be a handy work of an imposture.
The police caught Sandeep and recovered Rs.40000/- from him.
