The Nampalli Court has directed the police to file a case against TRS MP from Nizamabad, Kavitha who made objectionable comments on Kashmir and Telangana. The petition was filed a BJP activist who found fault in Kavitha's remarks.

Speaking to an English daily, Kavitha has categorically said that Kashmir and Telangana are not part of India but were forced to merge with the Indian nation after the Independence. Kavitha on Kashmir said, some parts are not ours, we need to move on and draw international lines. Both the national parties BJP and Congress have condemned Kavitha's remarks and advised her to make statements with knowledge.

Kavitha's remarks have caught the attention of Pakistan media and highlighted them in their respective web portals.
