Hyderabad: AP Chief Minister Chandrababu chanted the development mantra as part of his Independence Day speech, as a panacea to the problems faced by the residual AP, after bifurcation of the state.

Speaking at the APSP Grounds in Kurnool afte hoisting the national flag and receiving guard of honour, Chandraabbu spoke of the role of Telugus in India's freedom movement, but lamented that the Congress at the Centre has given a raw deal to Telugus every time, including the unjust and outrageous bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
