Hyderabad: The Telangana government, keen on improving the image of police on par with New York city police has done huge cosmetic changes in that direction and okeyed two designs of the new police vehicles that will zoom on Hyderabad and Telangana streets.
Director General of Police Anurag Sharma with his team made a presentation today at Secretariat to KCR on Branding and Image Building Vehicles for Police KCR selected two models of cars one meant for Law and order patrolling and another for Traffic and Highway patrolling.
The blue model with police logo is for law and order and the other is for highway patrolling. The TS government proposes to procure 1650 Innovas and other kind of vehicles at cost of Rs 300 cr. The law and order car and bike design was done by one Mr. Gopi Fakeera and another done by Ibrand India, a design company.
