The Telangana state police are making major changes to the entire department as they are planning to create a Facebook page to every police station in the state. As part of 'Friendly Police' the higher officials of the department are bringing in more reforms to improve their relation with the common man. Also they are many other initiatives in the pipeline but more focus is on the creation of Facebook page which can make the police department communicate more efficiently with the public.

To Change the attitude

The main purpose of this is, to bring change in the attitude and behavior of the police who seriously do have a bad impression among the public. With the creation of Facebook page, a common man will have the privilege to lodge a complaint, express his views and also reveal if the cops are corrupt. As Facebook is an open platform, any injustice to any person can be questioned and accordingly the action would be taken against. Also the higher officials have all the facility to see these posts of general public and if any cop found corrupt or being irresponsible, they will take action as per it. Eventually this process will bring change in behavior and attitude of the police and bring good results to the department against the wrong doings.
