Sagarika Chhetri, Miss India finalist is entering in Tollywod by making her debut with Friends Request under Aditya Om's direction. Sagarika who comes from Darjeeling will be seen as archaelogist in the horror comedy. Speaking about it she said "I gave my best shot in the audition and I got through! This is the best thing that happened to me. My life has changed drastically,". She adds "I'm lucky to bag the bilingual project on my debut. It's challenging. Very few actresses get such a great opportunity and I would like to give it my best."
About her role in the film, 2013 Miss India finalist said “It's a very glamorous role. I play a fearless archeologist, Ira, who tries to uncover the nexus between social media addiction and the ghost in the movie." She is "yet to pick up Telugu", but admits knowing basic lines like "Naa Peru Sagarika" etc. "For a scene in the film I had to say a page-dialogue in Telugu. My team helped me and I'm trying hard to pick up the language and want to dub for my lines in Telugu."
