Mahesh Babu's upcoming film Aagadu will soon be shot in Bellary. Directed by Sreeni Vaitla, this action entertainers has Mahesh Babu and Tamannaah in lead roles. For the past few days, the film was being shot in Nanakramguda and later in Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. The team is expected to wrap up the shooting schedule in Hyderabad on February 18 and then it will be shot in Bellary from February 23 onwards. 

Mahesh Babu is playing the role of a cop in this film and buzz is that it's set in a Rayalseema backdrop. Prakash Raj, Brahmanandam, Ali and Vennela Kishore are playing important roles. Thaman is the music director and KV Guhan is the cinematographer. The makers are planning to release the film's music album on May 31 and the film is expected to hit the screens later this year. Ram Achanta, Gopichand and Anil Sunkara are producing the film under 14 Reels Entertainment banner.
